sorry for the delay…camera NOT fixed, but i borrowed Mel’s and took a few pics of the new fabric, Urban Couture along with a pic of the 2 new bags Constance and Eryka–Samantha is still in the works maybe early next week.–lastly a simple baby quilt, Cottage Stripes–for a boy.
Urban Sprawl is 63 x 80 inches and the kit is $73 and includes binding with the pattern separate. It has fun, big blocks and shocks of red. A little funkier then what we normally do, but we love it!
Constance…named for Monica’s (Ben Around Books, owner) daughter who is both classy and fun…even at 6 years old you can already see it! Kit is $20 and the pattern is $8.
Eryka…named for the daughter of a friend. She is all girl just like this little tote — with 1 handle it is perfect for the beach. made out of decorator fabrics and small snap-together grommets. Kit is $25 and includes rope handle and grommets. Pattern is $8.
We always have an abundance of baby quilts for girls, but not many for boys. This Cottage Stripes is perfect for a little boy with the green, yellow, blue, and brown. We backed it with the Funky Monkey sock monkey knit print (not actually knit just printed to look like it). It measures 44 x 66 inches and the kit is $23 and the pattern is in the book Flea Market Finds for $12.99. Backing and binding are separate.
BRA HOP…today thru Saturday…shops are us, Flying Goose in New London, Shades of the Past in Clara City, Fabrics Plus in Marshal, DeAnn’s in Litchfield, Gone to Pieces in Kimball. Regular store hours, decorate you trip ticket and hand in at your last shop to be eligible for the grand prize –a gift certificate for machine quilting–free gift when you complete the hop.
