Autumn is my absolute favorite season. I love when the trees turn from fresh green to fiery shades of gold, auburn, orange, rust, and burgundy. Hay racks become impromptu stages for the fall harvest and the dry corn rustles in the evening breeze. Open windows give us the first cool nights of autumn as we pull out flannel sheets and blankets…cozy slippers…and snuggly sweaters.
