also, mom has finished a UFO of sorts. this new table topper/baby quilt/wall hanging is made up of wonderful orphaned 4-patches from ages ago and a purple shirting and border. i finished quilting it this afternoon so the binding isn’t finished. we will be kitting it up with some leftover 4-patches and yardage of the purples. a lovely civil war project that is super fun and quick for your spring sewing retreats, weekends, or evening get-togethers. we’ll be getting the binding on it this afternoon/evening…hopefully i can get it washed tonight and get wonderful pictures up tomorrow. –it is so luscious…reminds me of grape juice!
