thought i’d pop in quick this morning. i am spending the morning relaxing on the porch, coffee in hand, birds chirping…summer is finally in full swing–though it is already half over. with just under ten days to get ready for Quilt Minnesota…it is also a countdown to the start of August which hosts the renaissance fair, the Great Minnesota Get-Together (the Minnesota State Fair) and the beginning of college courses, of course, Quilt Minnesota.
we have our projects finished and kitted (with the exception of Country Sunshine) and will be finishing up our display with the stand-behind Calendar Girls photo op. it is going to be SO much fun… this year celebrates the 8th year of Quilt Minnesota and we so happy to be a part of it. we’ll be finishing up out display tomorrow morning (hopefully!), so be prepared for some photos come tomorrow afternoon.
today i have a grouping of Milk Cow Kitchen by MaryJane Butters of MaryJane’s Farm for moda fabrics. mom put together an always adorable rendition of 50’s apron and The Bee’s Knees Potholder Pair…however, she left for the shoppe this morning with them before i could get pictures…but i do have some pictures of the bolts. Though not as much fun, you do get a sneak peak of Country Sunshine.
