today has been rainy and perfect for a cup of coffee and a stroll through our blog posts where i realized i never shared pictures of our newest version of Porch Swing.
Porch Swing originally featured 30’s prints, coordinating solids, and periwinkle sashing and border. we remade it using softer, subtler tones by pulling fabrics from Blackbird Designs’ lines Autumn Lily and Country Orchard for the blocks and sashing, an unbleached muslin for the background, and Miss Scarlet tonal for the border. this quilt washed up wonderfully and measures 52 x 68 inches. we have kits ready to go in our etsy shoppe…keep in mind these are identical and some of the fabrics are out of print.
