as promised in the last post…a post about our newest Sweet Confections…(that really aren’t that new anymore). I’ve been playing catch-up (or ketchup) since early august–that crazy, busy, fun shop hop then the Madison Expo close on the heels has really done a number on my posting.
so since I’m caught up on quilting for the moment I thought I would bring you up to date on these two cuties.
Toffee is petite at just 11 ½ x 11 ½ inches. It features the very fun Hexden papers from Paper Pieces. The fabrics used are from a mixture of lines, but all the prints are small micro florals giving it a vintage look.
Parfait is adorable as well at just 10 ½ x 10 ½ inches. This Confection features Chrysanthemum papers which we’ve separated to look like fan blades. We chose brighter feedsack reproductions and added some yoyos and embroidery. (I LOVE that pop of brown!)
as always…kits are packaged in a white, windowed bakery bag. Price is $25.00 and includes the pattern card, fabric for front, back, binding, and papers.
you will need to know how to English Paper Piece and applique.
