Picnic in the Park…the quilt, is a reproduction of an antique quilt we saw in a local antique store. 9-patches of 9-patches make it reminiscent of a single Irish chain. We used reproduction civil war fabrics and shirtings to capture the feel of the original…I especially like the mourning purple and washed out block which gives it that extra bit of antiquey-ness.
Picnic in the Park measures 78 x 91 inches. We have put together kits that are identical so you can picnic in the park all year round!
