we are gearing up for February…which means we get to go a little overboard with pink (but really is there such a thing as too much pink?)
Anyways…I’m not sure if I liked Pretty in Pink the movie…I have blended that movie with Sixteen Candles…either way I prefer the Breakfast Club and our English Garden in shades of pink.
This project is so pretty…mom and I have both called dibs on it and Mel hasn’t even seen it yet; she’s a big fan of pink too!
English Garden is 88 x 106 inches and features 10 shades of pink ranging from cotton candy to rouge. Then we used a bleached muslin for the sashing, a small floral for the cornerstone 9-patch, a small rose print for the border, a cream and dark rosey-pink for the check binding.
Kits are ready to go and identical. Online and in-store.

As for sashing…I’m using unbleached muslin and I’m pretty sure my cornerstones will be scrappy. (Camille of Bonnie and Camille @thimbleblossoms on instagram did a white sashing and scrappy cornerstones if you’d like to take a look.)
