hi!
hope you had a wonderful weekend! we stayed in…I worked on my Jeweled Starflower, took in a little Netflix…dreamed of future projects…(**my list is getting longer by the moment**)
Brimfield Awakening is on the list of projects to do (at some point in the near future after a few other projects…)
however, I may (and by may I mean have already started) to pull together a grouping of prints to use for it. This bundle of Pretty by Hand’s First Romance is going to be my starting point. I LOVE the cute little prints, the variety of pinks…that blue…ohmygodgorgeous! how have i not listed this delightful bit of fabric heaven online?! well…it is available now…i linked it up…above.

this is Brimfield Awakening…it combines EPP with a little bit of Appliqué.

Roses & Chocolate II…a lovely mixture of peachy pink, chocolate, soft creamy vanilla yellowish, and green. A perfect bundle to add to your floral mixture…(i have used most of these in the Lucy Boston Summer Cottage blocks).

Mrs. Billings Coverlet…will be my next endeavor…though about a month ago i said to mom, “You know, it takes so long to hand piece these big quilts (Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses, Dear Jane, Double Wedding Ring), I’m thinking i might only work on small projects for awhile. They won’t take so long to get done.” Well, then I’m cruising around on Paper Pieces website looking through their designer packs and low and behold this little darlin’ popped up and i was like…OMG…adding that to the list. ( also added Ring of Roses to my list…that designer pack will be on my next order…plus it is smaller at about 53 x 49 inches…only 900 pieces…piece o’ cake!!)
i do have the Mrs. Billings Coverlet pattern, acrylics templates, and complete paper piece pack ready to go if you’d like to tackle it. it measures 94 x 94 inches.

(I’ve order a Moda Bella Muslin unbleached to use as the background…we’ll see how it looks once it arrives.)
it’s time for me to head out for the day!
happy stitching!
