good morning! hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! we will be closed on Monday, but i’ll be here bright and early on Tuesday.
today we have a few projects to get you excited for summer…
remember the color cuts from a couple weeks ago? well, mom whipped up a wonderful new Stepping Stones with the Sugar on Top color cut, a white on white, and a grey star print. it is out of this world!
we have a couple kits of this which include everything for the front, binding, and pattern which are available now! Stepping Stones measures 62 x 74 inches…so it is a perfect quilt to toss in the car as you’re headed out the door.
Marshmallow Studio Throw…this lovely was made using the most wonderful marshmallow backgrounds by Bonnie and Camille…a variety of lines were used, and the finished quilt is so scrumptious! a perfect project for a beginner or advanced…plus it is layer cake friendly! we’ve kitted it up with the exact prints shown along with the aqua cornerstones and the white sashing and binding! a perfect porch quilt…size of the studio throw is 60 x 70 inches.
Lilacs are in bloom right now and there is a massive Lilac bush on the way into town on Lake Ave. Every year i stop and pick…the first bouquets have wilted, so i freshened them up today even though the blooms are starting to brown. i couldn’t resist setting up a sweet little photo shoot with Garden Party featuring Lilac Ridge along with these Lilacs. Garden Party features checkerboards and stars, classic, elegant, simple, and a wonderful way to enjoy Lilacs all year long. Garden Party finishes at just 48 x 56 inches … i just love that deep purple narrow border! kits are available now!

lastly…and yes, i know the lilacs are still technically blooming, but we’ve gotten some Christmas (yes, Christmas fabric) in-store…believe me…i’d rather have about 25 bolts of pretty florals for summer instead of Christmas…but…these are super cute too!
Swell Christmas…we have the entire collection…just 18 retro-y prints in red, green, cream, and pink. we even nabbed some kits of their project…Mom will get to work on that next week!
