good morning!
the shop hop starts in just a few days and July is over tomorrow. I do prefer when the shop hop starts in August as opposed to the end of July…it is almost like we get a little extra summer!
Mom and i are thinking we may be ready. We have all the QM kits cut and tied, just waiting on me to print up some tags. I’m working on the booklet today along with cutting non-qm kits to fold and tie tomorrow on my last day off for 20+ days. Speaking of 20+ days working in a row…Mom and I are a two-quilter-show, so we ask that you please adhere to the shop hop hours m-s 10-5 and sun noon-5 (these hours can be found on the front page of the flyer at the top, on the passport above your name, and on the quilt minnesota website right below the “Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop” banner). Even if the lights are on odds are we are printing up the block patterns, cutting 5 inch squares, or trying to get a couple more kits cut and tied. We need every minute of the non-shop hop day to get everything ready for you plus our online shop stays open, so we have to get that packaged and off to the post office as well.
now…back to qm info…we ordered in some Aurifil Thread Sets that coordinate with Quilt Minnesota 2019. This palette of colors is truly Minnesota…they are available now! $25.95 for the set of 5 small spools of 50wt (2725, 2887, 2335, 2605, 2000).
these little boxes of threads are limited and exclusive to Quilt Minnesota 2019…i’m loving that grey!
now…back to kit cutting…then dinner with Monica tonight.
