blue is my favorite color…even though i love my pink coffee cups and that autumny coral color, and the lavender of lilacs…i can’t pass up a nice blue.
this was evident when our Northport order arrived last week. We chose just 9 prints…all white, cream, or tan backgrounds…to mix in with our remaining Portsmouth and civil war. Well, of those 9…5 are blue the remaining are a mixture of tan, red, and a red that looks pink.
the non blues have been mixed in with French General and 3 Sisters to make a larger version of our Spring Romance…more on that later.
the blues have been pulled and bundled with an essential multi dot and the ideas are coming…do we design a new project with snowballs and some Portsmouth or do we look through our pattern folder and find something to remake in this palette…hmmm…decisions.
i have, however, bundled up the fat quarters…so you can add them to your stash of blues, your collection of Minick and Simpson, or add it to your favorite patriotic prints. we have them in the shop and online.
if we get a few of these new projects finished up…i’ll be back with those later this week.
