good afternoon! i’ve just gotten back from my haircut and am sipping a little coffee. thought i’d pop in and give you a quick peak at Jane Austen At Home. Riley Blake and the Jane Austen House have come together to release a collection inspired by the Jane Austen Coverlet.
the Center Medallion, Border Panels, and additional yardage is all available. Kits for the Coverlet will be available once they arrive along with the Jane Austen booklet.
Jane Austen At Home is packed full of gorgeous florals…all named after women from her books each is lovely. This collection is what mom and i have been waiting for. you can see the fabrics and grab a bundle or 10 inch squares here.
we’ve come up with the best idea…remember Melany Square? well, we are going to whip one up using a mixture of Jane Austen and French General…we’ll toss in some Trés Jolie Lawns for a truly wonderful grouping.
so the top part of this post was written yesterday…and i went to link up the Trés Jolie and couldn’t find it. we’ve had it all summer and just now i’m realizing i never introduced it. it is truly lovely…the colors are that of fresh spring blooms and sun dappled water…inspired by Liberty this collection is full of ditzies and buds and vines and printed on lawn cotton.
look at all those small prints…mixed with all the larger Jane Austen prints…truly a perfect match…i can hardly wait to see them come together.
