good morning!
the month is flying by as we are busily getting ready for the hop.
first off…sad news in the quilty/cross stitch world…Barb Adams…half of Blackbird Designs passed away on the 4th of July. Mom and I have always been a fans of Blackbird Designs and always look forward to new cross stitch projects, books, and have eagerly waited for news of a new fabric collection. we are hoping that Alma will continue publishing patterns and books…i can’t imagine a world without Blackbird cross stitch and quilty goodness. As for fabric and books…a new Blackbird Designs fabric collection, Threads That Bind, is expected in February along with a new collection of projects in the book, In Full Bloom. We will be ordering the full collection along with precuts and the book.
if you need a little Blackbird Designs right now…we still have some Garden Club and The Raven books and more When the Cold Wind Blows on order and expected later this month…(you can take a look at When the Cold Wind Blows here…i’m in love with this book and the Trick or Treat Baskets!) you can grab a blackbird project here.
