good afternoon! hopefully you’re curled up next to a window enjoying the sunlight since it is a bit chilly to be on the porch today.
we’ve just finished up Sail, featuring Sister Bay by 3 Sisters, and have finally gotten it kitted up.
this quilt is wonderful…the classic half-square triangle, a somewhat modern/beachy/coastal color palette of navy, teal (aqua/turquoise), and creamy vanilla. perfect…truly perfect!
the classic look of the triangles…the nearly 2 color-ness of the palette…definitely reminds me of a bayside retreat. the collection…inspired by Sister Bay Wisconsin…is a glorious mix of color and print. a perfect quilt for anyone that loves the water –Tina has already called this quilt…i really like it so we’ll see…
