Sweetbriar…if you are looking for a project that has some English Paper Piecing and a little appliqué…then this is a project for you. Featuring Bramble Patch by Hannah Dale…this sweet and serene collection is perfect for the squatty Dresden petals that surround a super-sized center. we have it kitted up with fabric for front and binding, pattern, and the Dresden papers and acrylics…you can find the kits here.

Flapjacks…this project is a favorite! i love the collection (Spring Brook) and the color palette and the block. The white background really lets the prints shine…this collection by Corey Yoder is older so kits are limited…you can grab yours here.
Summer Weekends…classic roses, 4-patches, dots and stripes and florals…all combine to make Barefoot Roses. it brings to mind hot summer days in the garden, crisp evenings, and weekends spent lounging on the porch. this quilt is beginner level…so a good option for anyone looking for a first project or an advanced quilter looking for a quick project. you can check out the kits here.
as we gear up for spring…it seems like it always takes SO long to get back in the dirt…we are always IMpatiently waiting for the greenhouses to open up. i will never forget the smell of fresh flowers in the greenhouse in February…truly wonderful! we no longer have the greenhouse…but our Wildflower Hill project does bring to mind the smell of summer in the winter! the sweet little houses, an old country church, and a barn. Sassafrass…a pastel star project featuring Grace by Brenda Riddle and lots of our favorite white solid. The stars dance and the pinwheels twirl. Perfect for your spare bed over Easter, folded over the back of the couch, or on your quilt ladder. Brenda’s color palette is a breath of fresh air…shades of sprout, pink, raspberry, sunshine, bluebell, cobblestone, and linen. Definitely a summery palette.
