as we near the big summer holiday…i thought i better share a new favorite…
Summer in the Garden…a delightful combination of Lexington, Willow, Exquisite, and Bella Solid Pearl. This quilt graced the American Patchwork & Quilting calendar about 13/14 years ago…it has always been a favorite. When Lexington arrived, we debated on what we should do…the collection is so lovely…we knew it had to be something fun yet classic that would highlight the lovely palette and the small/medium prints.
Mom reworked Summer in the Garden to fit the prints…and this is her…
i love the soft denim added in as the block centers, cornerstones and border…that color adds the perfect something to this project!
Summer in the Garden measures 77 x 96 inches.

we are hard at work on our Quilt Minnesota projects and have decided it’s high time to visit the pattern vault…some oldies may be making a comeback…
