good morning! hopefully your sunday is relaxing. as the autumn takes hold, we love putting on a big pot of Chili on Sunday morning and letting it simmer throughout the day. today though, we will be spending the day celebrating Penny’s 1st birthday, her actual birthday is October 5th…but Mel & Ty are vendoring the first weekend of October, Ty works the other weekends and Baby Girl is due mid-October. i should be able to get in a little stitching this evening…so excited to share some new Christmas embroidery kits with you–that will be a little further down the line though.
Today we have for you a brand new project featuring the sweetest little Christmas Village. We love this sweet Christmas panel…it has all the Christmas feels and a wonderful color palette of sea glass, denim, off white, pink, and blush. The prints are fun as well…snow globes, presents, angels, and houses. They are all so cute…we wanted to use them all and actually see them…so Mom designed little houses to border it and paired the fabric with a Bella. A perfect weekend project for the quilt ladder, your favorite chair, or the new grandbaby that needs tummy-time. Christmas-Town measures a 54 x 69 inches. Christmas-Town is available online…here.
Another favorite today is a sweet little framed project by Plumcute Designs…and yes…all her projects are plum cute! i stitched up this project last year as we headed into the autumn season and love it! Each kit incudes the fabric, threads, buttons, and a scrap of a vintage quilt that had been salvaged and parts had been framed. i snagged the cut up bits and thought they would be perfect for this project.
