good morning! i have finally gotten Etchings online. it has been a whirlwind around here…between ordering fabrics for next year, bringing Christmas to Sweetwater, the shop hop, trying to catch up on our machine quilting, and finding room for new collections as they arrive, Etchings has been on my to-do list for a little while now. (and with new lines on the way…i knew i needed to get this online.)

so i spent last night trying out Laurel (the new home laptop)…she is quick and an actual laptop so i can sit in a cozy chair and update the etsy shoppe…i’ll maybe even work on an email newsletter…–let’s not get ahead of ourselves–

anyways…let’s get to the real reason you popped in today.

Etchings…one of our ALL-TIME-FAVORITES. It was so nice seeing it rereleased as a Collections for a Cause with Howard Marcus. This collection although lovely and sure to be a favorite is also meant to raise awareness to Parkinson’s Disease. The prints are mostly from the Etchings collection by 3 Sisters (i’ve noticed a couple Quill prints making an appearance.) The collage has been tweaked a little from the original…still lovely and architectural…it now contains some affirmational text within in the lavishly layered damasks and botanical elements. Moda donates a portion of the proceeds from this collection to Parkinson’s Research.

We’ve brought back our Cherry Cobbler quilt. This quilt has always been a favorite. Measuring 73 x 87 inches…it is a perfect living room cozy quilt. We have kitted it up with the new Etchings. It is available…here.

You can find all of the Etchings…here.

okay…now back to new fabric (our cherry-picked yardage of American Gatherings 2 has arrived!)

happy stitching!
