good morning! happy December! if you do an advent…then you’ve opened (or will open) your first day. we’ve gotten each other advents so it will be a little different this year. we haven’t gotten all 24 so as we go we will keep filling the container. my first day was a vintage black and cream bread box full of wrapped gifts…(through day 8). so it will be lots of fun as we lead up to christmas.
today i thought i would introduce Hints of Prints, a Flowerhouse 30s collection, by Debbie Beaves. as our 30s reproduction offerings grow we knew we wanted to order in a collection of low volume backgrounds as an option to just solid white or cream. this collection of pastel prints on white is exactly what we wanted!
we nabbed all 18 because we couldn’t pick a favorite…they are all great. i love the variety of colors and prints…the basic rainbow…red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, along with light and dark pink, black, and teal and the prints include flowers, stars, leaves, squares, and circles.

use with a white background for a low volume quilt or use several for a scrappy background.
you can find hints of prints bundle here. or check out the yardage in the 30s section here.
now back to machine quilting and this afternoon i may just finish up a couple patterns so we can finish up our window display…
happy December stitching!
