we tend to lean more towards the light and airy. which i’m sure you know already…however, there are certain collections that we just fall in love with…English Garden by Laundry Basket is probably a collection that may seem a little out of place to some of you.
however, we love that cozy winter vibe this collection has. Pretty plum, yellow, rust, black, and cream with bits of teal, rose, and a lovely green-brown. this palette has just the right amount of rich and elegant to lend itself to the cottage style we love so much. it works paired with white furniture, chenille bedspreads, and classic shams.
this collection called for something classic, simple, and with how busy life can be…we wanted something that can be strip pieced and done fairly quickly.

Attic Treasure…definitely something that could be found in a trunk in the attic. i love a good checkerboard quilt and this vintage-y looking block combined with the opulent yet antique-ish English Garden make this the perfect pairing (sounds like we are talking about wine!) Attic Treasure measure 72 x 80 inches and features then entire collection (not including the 2 preprinted) and a scrappy binding.
