good morning! and happy Monday after the 4th of July holiday weekend! hopefully you had a wonderful weekend! we had a wonderful drizzly Thursday (the 4th) bingeing some Relic Hunter and finishing up a project and putting together a plan for July as we get ready for Quilt Minnesota (more on that as we get closer to the start date)…then back in the shoppe on Friday and Saturday…Sunday we popped down to Buffalo for their occasional sale weekend and picked up a few new pieces to tuck in…hopefully we can get them settled in sometime tomorrow.
we are excited to introduce our newest arrival…Dear Santa…classic red and cream prints paired with a redwork Santa. this collection is classic and sweet and i’m a big fan of classic red and cream! the 9 prints in this set are all versatile…nothing screams Christmas (except the big Santa)…other than that these prints are perfect stash builders, add into your civil war and pair them with some fun greens for a truly Christmas project!
we have a plan for the Santa (first i have to get embroidering him…we ordered in some DMC size 5 Christmas Red) and hopefully we can get him sorted out in the near future.

Summer is going so quick…be sure to savor the moments. we get so focused on the Shop Hop and Christmas that summer seems to slip away. So this year we are trying our hardest to be more aware of the days, the storms, new kittens, evening breezes, coffee on the porch, farmers market goodies, BLTs, stitching on the patio, and walks through the garden. There is usually some outdoor stitching there somewhere!
