good afternoon! thought i would drop in with a new project during this mid-afternoon lull. The shop hop is wrapping up this saturday…still time to join in!
we’ve been thinking all things autumn around here…not necessarily because we want summer to end…but the crisp evenings and the changing leaves (not many but there are a few that are ahead of the curve) are definitely signaling an upcoming weather change.
we are planning on transforming the porch to Christmas after the shop hop…for our kick-off on September 14th.
however, the window will be autumn…we have a few autumn project ideas and Tina loved the Birdsong collection and offered to whip up this sample.

Autumn Picnic…
inspired by bushel baskets of ripening apples, the lush green that shifts to rusty red, crisp autumn winds, cozy bonfires, and the end of the season bouquets filled with sunflowers, mums, and hydrangeas. Autumn Picnic featuring Birdsong…a delightful mixture of pastel and sweet in shades of pink, rusty red, and soft teal. pair up with heirloom pumpkins and you are good to go!
Tina did the machine quilting too…a classic leaf pattern in a variegated was just what this classic quilt needed. we’ve kitted up Autumn Picnic…you can find it here.
