good afternoon! hopefully you are gearing up for a weekend of stitching. who doesn’t love a late summer stitch weekend…i know i am looking forward to sunday.

today, i thought i better pop in and introduce the newest addition to our 30s section. Garden Variety…the newest Aunt Grace collection has just been put in the Hoosier cabinet and the fat quarter bundles have been folded and tied. now to come up with a vintage-inspired quilt to make with them.

30s fabrics always make me happy. i feel that they are the perfect fabric to celebrate summertime…the cheerful color palette, pretty flowers, and sometimes you even get a novelty mixed in with the bunch.

Garden Variety is mainly flowers with a couple geometrics added in. The top print is my favorite…those little flowers…they just get me!

you can find the fat quarter bundle and all 22 Garden Variety prints online here.

the shop hop is winding down…our region is petite at just 5 shops…and it can be finished up in a day if you are looking for something to do tomorrow.

happy stitching!
