good afternoon!

we are planning our Christmas rearrange…as i mentioned in the last post…as we get ready for our shop hop. the shop will remain autumn/halloween until the weekend after Halloween…(i just can’t put up trees until after Halloween). i feel bad enough that Thanksgiving gets skipped over…so we always keep a spot dedicated to Thanksgiving…still planning this years layout, so we’ll see what we come up with.

we have wrapped up some of the projects as we get ready for our event…Hard Candy Flannel is done, kitted, and ready to go. we love a good flannel quilt and this one has it all.

–classic colors…pine, red, cream, and charcoal

–nostalgic prints…classic Santa, cut-out cookies, vintage treats, checks, and a snow-inspired dot

–a soft creamy solid

we used a quilting weight coordinate for the back and binding to cut down on the bulkiness and weight. It is LOVELY…quilted with pine trees and ran through a wash and dry it is super cozy! a quick project to whip up for chilly evenings spent watching movies, stitching, or playing Christmas Charades.

Introducing…

Hard Candy Flannel…measuring 70 x 70 inches.

**Coming Soon**

Vanilla Bean quilt is finished and so incredibly soft and neutral…pattern isn’t quite finished up yet, but i have the pictures taken.

Christmas-Town…we have remade our wildly popular Christmas-Town pattern with the Christmas is in Town collection by Sandy Gervais. Her manger panel is perfect and it pulls the entire quilt together. we ended up doing 2 rounds of houses…it looks fantastic. hopefully it will get quilted today so we can check that off the list. (Christmas is in Town isn’t online…not sure how it was missed but i’ll be working on that.)

the 9th annual Hometown Holiday Road Trip…the theme this year is “Christmas Stitches & Peppermint Wishes”…each shop will be offering a complimentary pattern. ours is finished up and features sweet little log cabin blocks. we don’t have much of our Christmas rearrange figured out…but i do know how we are going to display our table runner. hopefully you are able to join us…nov 7, 8, 9 –it’s coming up quick!

now back to pattern writing…

happy stitching!
