we hope you are enjoying the weather as we welcome the final weekend before thanksgiving.
i thought i would take a moment and introduce a 2 lovely floral collections…if you are looking for a break from Christmas stitching.
Just Rosy and Hollyhocks & Roses are both packed full of pretty prints in amazing color palettes. don’t get me wrong…i love Christmas stitching…i pull out all my Christmas embroidery after Thanksgiving and set to work. But mom and I both love a good cottage collection full of roses, plaids and some small prints…check ’em out below!
Just Rosy a Marcus Fabrics collection that was inspired by the Smithsonian collection…it features gorgeous prints including floral roses, tonals, and plaids in a classic cottage colors including ivory and cream, sky and blue, blush and pink, lime and olive. It was a must when we saw it and once it arrived…we love it even more!

Hollyhocks & Roses by Bunny Hill, washed-out, cottage-style Americana comes to mind. this collection is full of pretty florals, plaids and dots in a palette of Hollyhock Pink, Bluebell, Linen, Sky, Carnation Pink and Jasmine White. It reminds me of Sweet Liberty by Brenda Riddle…cottage-y and wonderful when mixed with Bella Bleach. Mom is currently working on a project…more on that once it is finished up. we do have factory precuts along with FQ and Half Yard bundles of the different colors. i couldn’t pick just 1 colorway to show…so i grabbed a pic of each. the collection and precuts can be found here…i’ve put them in the Independence.Day section…
if you are looking for a quick gift…some of these prints would make the loveliest pillowcases…just 1 yard…a French seam and a hem, run through the wash, fold and tie and you are good to go!
