good afternoon!
i am writing from the living room comfy chair today. as you know, wednesdays are my day off, but mom and i have been playing catch-up since last week when we both came down with a nasty cold. the cough is lingering but overall we’ve been feeling much better. so much so, that we’ve finished up a couple projects…but now comes the math and a crochet edging so it will probably be a another week or so before those get finished up.
here is a sneak peak at the new project featuring Hollyhocks and Roses…it was inspired by a quilt mom saw in a magazine. it is a little patriotic, a little english cottage, a little classic…you know we love a good 16-patch and this scrappy delight is a new favorite! promise we’ll get doing some quilty math and get it up in the shoppe.
the other lovely we have nearly ready…just have to finish up the crochet edge is our new version of our Cozy Cottage quilt featuring the Trendy Toile. love that extra large Fableism Camp Gingham backing…yummy!

ANYWAYS…now back to why i’m here today…now that we are feeling mostly better…we had some new collections arrive…today i would like to introduce…
Precious Petites by gerri robinson for riley blake.
when we saw this collection we *knew* we needed to add it to the shoppe. it just screams sweetwater. 28 bolts mostly florals with some fun ginghams. perfect for vintage-inspired projects. wouldn’t a Dresden plate be just lovely…or maybe an around the world…simple 9-patches never disappoint! we’ve found space in our 30s section for it…it has a vintage look that goes so well with the feedsack palette.
look at that scrumptious palette!! the minty color is so summery! wouldn’t an Easter pillow or a little basket quilt be the BEST!!
