good morning!
hopefully you have been able to be out and about…who doesn’t love a drive when the weather is warmer in late February!

we’ve been working pretty diligently on getting some projects finished up and with a lull in new fabric deliveries (i’m sure we’ll bombarded once everything arrives!) it was the perfect time to work on something new and spring-y!
today i am sharing Flower Market…featuring Hollyhocks and Roses and a bit of My Summer House. these 2 collections mix well and create a slightly patriotic look…without being in your face. inspired by a vintage quilt…Flower Market features scrappy 16-patches arranged in a round robin style quilt. i LOVE the white borders that break up the rows; it lightens the quilt making it seem airier and washed out…all those cozy cottage feels! It is big too at 80 x 88 inches.

i am SO excited to redo the window in May for Memorial Day/Juneteenth/4th of July…this quilt screams summertime…and sometimes we want something that works for patriotic without being full of stars and flags (which of course i LOVE…but sometimes you wanna take it down a notch…right?).
you can find the kit here.

I’m finishing up our Precious Petites project…think a little bit of solid white and lots and lots of petite florals…it has a very Easter feel to it. it is a good thing we haven’t gotten started on the Easter rearrange yet…cuz this quilt would have thrown a wrench into the whole plan!
