trip to grandma’s

when i was young…going to grandma’s seemed to be a weekend event in the off-season. whether it was going to the farm (dad’s parents) or the cities (mom’s parents)…it was sure to be filled with memories. whether feeding baby calves and walking through the vegetable garden or shopping and walking through the rose garden, these weekends were filled with fun.

this quilt reminds me of those weekend. a combination of 2 collections…Tulip Cottage and To Grandmother’s House…each collection full of sweet prints. Whether the Little Red, the Wolf, and apple pie or a Sweet Cottage on rolling hills and Cows munching grass. These 2 collections combine to create a wonderful project…inspired by grandma’s…perfect for young people.

Trip to Grandma’s…features easy flying geese (so no fabric waste!), measures 64 x 69 inches, and we have it kitted up and ready to go. you can find more info here. **i love the navy gingham binding!*

happy stitching!
