good evening!
summer is gliding by pretty quickly. we’ve been in full Quilt Minnesota project mode. i finished up quilting and binding project #1 today, mom has the binding of the topper left and is about half done with the bag and is currently working on the last quilt…fingers crossed that one will be ready for quilting tomorrow. Tina is working on a dreamy 9-patch and is hoping to get that finished up by midweek so we can finalize patterns, take pictures, wrap the booklet, and figure out the kit prices. once we are all set, i’ll introduce then and offer preorders.
New fabric!! new fabric days are my favorite. i love seeing how the collections we’ve order slide right into the shoppe. Cheddar and Coal III is gorgeous. jam packed with lovely moody cheddars, washed black, and a handful of beige and cream prints. these are wonderful for mixing in with previous civil war fabrics. or because Pam Buda is the BEST…this collection has all the halloween vibes without trying too hard!
we’ve put it by the pumpkin spice gatherings and they make wonderful neighbors!
