good afternoon! we have been bombarded with new collections, restocks of fun notions, hand dyed floss (Gentle Art & Classic Colorworks), cross stitch linens and patterns, and we’ve even been getting a few new projects finished up here and there. Tina is stitching like crazy on a new shoofly project featuring some delicious autumn prints and mom is working on a new project featuring the Rosy Cheeks collection and i’m over here stitching away on my A Very Sweet Christmas grandmother’s flower garden and snacking on Little Debbies.
anyways…i have several collections and projects that need to be introduced. i’m hoping i can get caught up this week (i started this post on sunday, but alas it is now wednesday )…it will probably be a little fabric/project overload, but i should be somewhat caught up…until Devonstone’s Guinevere and Peasholme Green and Laundry Basket’s Lighthouse arrive.
today though i thought i would revisit an old favorite.
Beachy in Autumn…we took our Beachy pattern and long ago Tyler pulled 32 autumn prints from the entire shoppe. he has an eye for color no doubt…a lovely mixture of reproductions, florals, Fig Tree, and Bella Muslin (keep in mind this is the same weight as a Bella solid but has the flecks). Tyler made 2…for their matching overstuffed chairs in their Cozy Fireplace room…alas we do not have a sample, but we do have lots of kits. well, tina was in an autumn mood and grabbed one on her way home last week. she went right to work and i can honestly say i’ve never seen a Beachy quilt i didn’t want to borrow (and never give back!). the prints vary slightly from the original, but it has all the autumn feels…a cozy, autumnal palette pairs wonderfully with classic quilting, an overstuffed chair and a fireplace.

please keep in mind…kits are not identical to quilts shown…however, we pull 32 cozy autumn prints to make up the Beachy in Autumn kits…so each round of kits is hand-picked from the entire shoppe to create a delightful comfy cozy autumn quilt.
