good morning! apparently it has been a very busy 2026 since i haven’t posted a single thing since December. we have a couple new collections and several new projects to introduce, so hopefully i can get caught up.

if you are local to the state…today is a bitterly cold day. paynesville schools were closed due to the cold, and we generally stay home if school is closed. HOWEVER, we have some Kindness precuts arriving today and hopefully the sheetrock will start going up. it is a very exciting day around here!

we are planning on spending the day in slippers, sipping hot cocoa, and kitting up our newest project.

introducing…

South of Savannah…a delightfully scrappy project inspired by classic civil war quilts that are super scrappy and include semi-small pieces. we chose fabrics from the best civil war designers and had a wonderful time pairing up the darks with the shirtings. each block is one-of-a-kind which just adds to the historical loveliness of the quilt.

she measures 78 x 89 inches and is kitted up with all the fat quarters and the delicious Return to Elegance floral that is featured in the setting triangles and binding.

kits can be found here.

happy stitching!
