good morning!
hopefully you are enjoying your february. we are gaining a little momentum at the new shoppe. we are painting and today they are back and working on the bathroom. so we are getting there…now just waiting on electrical, the back walk-in door, and do some heavy duty cleaning before we do the flooring. i did post some progress shots of the space when we purchased and to where we are now over on facebook. otherwise, i’m planning on an epic blog post once we’re done but before we start moving in. it will the only time it is empty which is kind of a crazy thought. anyways…more on that soon!
***
now…for 3 fun & quick quilts…we are always working on something and these 3 projects feature some fun fabrics, and the patterns themselves are delightful!
our first project features Berry Market…and we chose the fun and fresh bicycle print for the alternating squares and setting triangles. i LOVE this quilt…the bicycles remind me so much of spring!
Strawberry Picking measures 72 x 84 inches and can be found here.

the other 2 projects…both feature fabrics from My Sew Quilty Life…a Moda Designer that we LOVE! her fresh pastel palette with pops of lavender, citrus, and grapefruit pink are scrumptious.
first we have Fruit Salad which uses a healthy mixture of her collections…it is a super scrappy projects with no star points or half-square triangles…just squares and rectangles. perfectly quick and extra sweet measure 64 x 78 inches. kits are available here.

and lastly…Penny Q. named after my neice…Pennelope Quinn. this cheery, cheeky little Sunbonnet girl looks like she’s picked all the garden blooms and cannot wait to decorate the picnic table. not into appliqué…no worries cuz she is PREPRINTED!! so you can finish her up in an evening with her strip pieced sashing. finishing at 52 x 70 inches…Penny Q. kits can be found here.

so that wraps it up for today…we are working through fabric overload from last week…so i’ll be introducing them this week. along with some new curated bundles as we make room for new collections. we’ll keep you updated on those as we get to them.
happy stitching!
