scrappy star-a-day

good morning!  i’m working away at my star-a-day and couldn’t resist putting together a couple 9-patches.  oh goodness…i’m in love with them and want to spend every waking moment whipping up these tiny darling stars.

i’ve spent a few days chain-basting diamonds…look at that overflowing tin…(and that cottage hearts pillow…i’m all heart-eyes!)

3 inch squares are the alternating squares…

my goal is to use lots of different prints…if each star uses 2 darks and a shirting…it’s about 720ish different darks and 360ish shirtings.  take a look at my first 2 9-patches…loving those stars and scrappy backgrounds!  also…my new coffee cup…

to help get you started on your own star-a-day you can grab our pattern/papers/acrylic pack here.  grab that set of rose gold stork scissors here cuz you can NEVER have too many sets of scissors.

i’ve also put together some fat 8th civil war color bundles…top row from left… tomato soup, mint julep, cheddar cheese puffs, blueberry grits and salsa.  bottom row from left…bubblegum, grapes, burnt brown, peanut brittle, and espresso…you can grab them here.

my back was acting up last week…therefore i didn’t get a lot of bundles cut…but it seems to have calmed down over the last day or so, so hopefully come monday i can get back to bundle cutting and serious machine quilting in between printing and packing orders.

next week…shirting fat 16th bundles are on the agenda along with pattern writing and some kitting.

have a wonderful weekend!

happy healthy stitching!  -a&m&g
