UPDATE: November 2025…Miss Maudie’s Farm Mystery has officially come to a close. we will be offering it has pattern and possibly a kit.

we are delighted to be offering Miss Maudie’s Farm Mystery by Susan Smith. (She is the designer behind Stonefields, The Prince, and Fleurs…to name a few and the brand new Stonleigh collection from Dutch Heritage).

it is truly a mystery though…since all i have to show you is a fabric pull and a handful of appliqué flowers, however, her projects do not disappoint, so i couldn’t resist getting in on the fun.

it is set up as a mystery so it will be mailed out in 7 parts starting in september…and will be arriving monthly…skipping december.

we will be offering a kit. kit will include…background, fabrics for front and binding, and pattern that will be divided into 7 parts.

This is the sneak peak.

this is the palette that Susan is using…

i will use her palette as a starting point…and plan to use Stonleigh by Susan Smith, Eiderdown by Judy Newman along with complimentary prints from various designers and companies including…poppie cotton, 3 sisters, lewis and irene, laundry basket, jane austen, max and louise, french general, and civil war era prints. –basically…if it works with stonleigh and eiderdown it’ll probably go into the mix.

***Due to the nature of the mystery (1 pattern/fabric pack a month for 7 months)…we will send a paypal invoice on the 1st of every month for the duration of the mystery…so we will need your email address upon signup***

Cost Breakdown…

Month 1…$100…this will include the background***(refer below), Apple Blossom Block, and Sprout Borders)

months 2-7 will be $54/month…each month will include the pattern and fabric pack.

BACKGROUND***i will be using Bella Solid White Bleach…Susan is using a soft off-white vanilla color…if you prefer a soft white…we have several Bella Solid options…PFD, Off White, Fog, Porcelain.
