cottage caravan

as a die-hard homebody (or shoppe-body) as the case may be…i do love the caravans that pop up on Midsomer Murders and all the other British cozy mysteries. the way they wander the English countryside has me wishing that was something we did here. this quilt was inspired by those cozy caravans. the original rendition used Rue 1800 by 3 Sisters which showcased the moda florals perfectly. our newest iteration features the gorgeous Terrace Blooms collection. reminiscent of elegant gardens, walking paths, and overflowing flower pots…this collection is stunning cut into oversized squares, strippy borders and scrappy binding. measuring a cozy 66 x 80 it is perfect for rainy days spent on the porch, evenings spent in your reading/stitching cottage, or on a bed layered with chenille bedspreads and crocheted shams.

we’ve been bombarded with collections this last week or so…i’ve been spending my evenings getting everything listed online…i have 3 collections left…Love Letters, Yardley House, and Moonwashed. looking at doing those tonight…stay tuned.

happy stitching!
