Minnesota Countryside

good morning! today is the second day of the 20th Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop. can you believe that this shop hop has been around for 2 decades! i can still remember the first year and how we weren’t sure if it would be a hit. well it was and here we are 20 years later.

every year, starting in 2010, we compiled a booklet (we did several patterns in 2009, but they were offered singly) and after trying to keep track of what we had printed…it was easier just to do a booklet of them all together. (2010 was also a Winter themed collection…remember the blue snowflake collection from Moda…it was a favorite!)

anyways…this year like the last we’ve put together a booklet…Minnesota Countryside which features 5 Minnesota projects.

this is our display this year…a little compact compared to previous years when we had it on the porch…however, i like the cozy feels it has.

and the projects are…

Valley View 52 x 54 inches kitted up here.

Piece of Cake…86 x 86 inches…kits here.

Countryside Winter…74 x 74 inches…kits here.

Frostwork runner & square…8 x 24 inches and 16 x 16 inches…kits are available here.

we hope you can join us for the shop hop this year…our region is only 4 shops this year so a quick trip and lots of fun. the last day is August 15th if you fancy taking part in the 20th year.

in other shop news…new fabric is in-store and on the way. recent additions include Winter’s Garden by Cassadra Connelly (lewis and irene) which will hopefully be online this weekend. Le Petit Bonheur from l’uccello is on the way and should be in-store sometime next week. here is a sneak peak…

looks like i need to print up some more booklets.

we hope to see you soon…

happy stitching!
